How do I change the universal joint on a ‘98 toyota 4runner?

I have a 2004 Chevy express in great condition pror to shipping it to Africa. Soon as drove it there, I notice the engine is running a little bit hot expecially when i turn the air conditioner on. why is that and what can i do to rectify it. Thanks

I accidentally crossed the jumper cables when trying to jump start my 2005 MPV Mazda. Sparks flew off the battery post and a blackish smoke came up from somewhere….after that my car started normally and I went to the mechanic. He checked the batteries and the alternator and they were ok but when I was going back home, my car stopped running and start normally again… after that stopped running again and again but it starts normally when it happens. What damage could he have caused by having done this?

My ‘92 Camry with auto transmission wont reverse. Actually, it will reverse but only in the morning the first time I put in gear, after that, goes into gear but wont move. It doesnt leak trans fluid or slip gears, just wont go backwards! What could that be?

The car has 3800 Series 2 motor runs rough at idle, smooths out at higher exceleration (when still in park).

while running the engine sounds suffeceint but when moved into drive, it stalls.

we have replaced; sensors and spark plugs, ecm unit (but nothing has changed after all replacements)

does anyone know what is going on?

My 2001 SAAB 9.5 shuts down in the middle of driving….we have changed the alternator and battery because it did not want to start…and needed jumped all the time….now, if it feels like it, it will start, but after driving it for a while, all the dashboard lights turn on, and it just shuts off in the middle of driving….if it sits a couple hours, it will start back up again…sometimes when the key is turned, it just ticks, ticcks, ticks…..sometimes it will start…..HELP !!!! could the relay box be causing this problem?

I have a 2001 Ford Taurus SE with about 100,000 miles.  Recently, I’ve started having some problems.  It starts absolutely fine when the engine is cold.  After I drive for awhile, if I stop the engine to run in for a short errand, it starts, cranks, and then sounds like it is struggle, and dies.  If I wait another 15 to 30 minutes, it starts fine again.  Once it’s going, it runs fine with no problems.  Codes were checked and they come up clear.  This all started the same day that I stopped at a different gas station to fill up.

My local mechanic has said that he thinks the problem is the fuel pump and the repair will cost about $1000.  Does this sound legitimate or does it sound like the problem is something else?
