Belt squeals when car is first started then stops. All belts are tight.

On its last legs but still moving, hesitates and chugs a little bit when accelerating especially up hill. Idles fine but is burning a bit of oil.

I suspect that I need to look at the valve covers for the oil burning but what about the chugging? Any ideas?

95 chrysler LHS starts but dies. I’ve replaced fuel pump, cam sensor and crank position sensor. Still no go. code shows 77 (speed control relay circuit) but would that effect EFI ?

considering buying the car with 190K miles. Only the head gasket has been replaced – good idea or not?  Everything else looks good on the car.

The guy has a good reputation but I’m wondering about damage done to engine when first gasket failed.  How many miles could I expect to get out of this car with the new gasket?

Had the crank position sensor replaced new in my 1993 plymouth laser. Several times now engine turns over but does not engage. After getting it towed to garage it would start up! Can the new sensor be faulty and work intermittently? Could it be the engine control module? Had the fuel pump checked but it is fine. Also had the fuse box next to battery terminal replaced

Started car this morning and was making off sound, turned key to shut off engine but starter would not disengage – started smoking and pulled fuel pump fuse to turn car off

I currently Own a 1994 Cutlass Supreme, it has a 3.4L V6 DOHC 24 Valve FWD Gm Engine, I was wondering what other engines can i replace it with and will work without a lot of work needed to be done, please answer me back Thank You

I need to know where the pcv valve tube connects on my monte carlo.  I know it connects to the throttle body and the valve cover but i dont know where the last connection is.  a diagram would be much appreciated

1997 Chevy s-10  Blazer, When you turn key on, dash lights turn on & you can hear the fuel pump kick in & it will start, but lately you turn key on & dash lights do not turn on & fuel pump does not kick in & it will not start. The ignition switch seems to turn very normal , not sloppy. But it seems like it has to be something to do with that ignition switch. Also when you turn key on & it has no dash lights & won’t start, radio will play & temp gage above head works!!!!   HELP ME !!!!!

Hello all.

 I was driving my car tonight on the motorway when the oil light came on and started flashing. The next thing there was a knocking noise and then and bang and something fell off (which we found out on the hardshoulder was the exhaust!!) Anyway the next thing the car just shut down and slowed down to the hardshoulder. It wouldent then start, any ideas would be greatly appricated.
