my abs idiot light comes on in my truck,what things can I check to see what’s causing my light to come on? I checked the brakes and they seem okay added some brake fluid because the fluid was low.

Son’s truck – new engine installed in Feburary, been working fine.  Has a Viper alarm system on truck.  ABS light has been on solid.  Now when truck is started ABS begins flashing.  Replaced 3 blown 15 amp fuses.  Will have to verify which ones, but all light or brake related.  Now I notice all lights in rear of truck stay lit as soon as the headlights are turned on.  This truck also has daytime running lights (DRL).  I am wondering if a ABS sensor is shorted, but don’t see anything running to rear drums even though one fuse I replaced is for rear ABS (RABS)?  I am going to check the stearing column for possible wiring issues, but where do I find the ABS sensors?  Are they front and rear?

ABS light is lit on dash and blinks continuously. The dash lights parking lights break lights do not work. But if you mess with the headlight knob they all will come on. But if you pull it out all the way like its suppose to then the lights don’t come on. The headlights work but nothing else. The signal lights work when used. Help

How much should it cost to put a refurbished abs computer module in a 1992 saturn sc1?

I have a 2001 Olds Bravada. Lately I have been having a problem with the brakes. There are NO leaks and it is full of fluid. The problem is that sometimes when I brake, and I mean easily, not slamming on them, there is a popping noise and the brake pedal pushes back into my foot and the vehicle doesn’t want to stop. I have to really press hard to get the brakes to work when this happens at all. It does have an ABS system but the light doesn’t come on when this happens. At other times the ABS light does come on but when it is on there is no problem.

I have had one person tell me this has to do with the vacuum hose to the gas tank being the problem. Another says this only happens with the brakes if I drive through water or hit ice, even though I have told them that no, there have been times that there has been no puddles or ice. Someone else said that it is the gears shifting, since it is all wheel drive, yet I have never known brakes to fail when gears shift. Another person said this was common in the Bravada, which sounds like bunk to me since it is obviously a safety issue.

Can someone PLEASE give me some insight into this and what might be going on? Thanks in advance.

My 91 Accord has the “Anti Lock” light on. When I bought the car it was missing the ALB relay, so I replaced it and the light still comes on within 1 minute of starting.

I keep reading there is a service connector for the ALB, where is it? can I use a jumper on the connector under the pass. seat instead of the “ALB checker” honda has? Please help me get started. I just need to pull the code to know what to check.

My ABS light is on and I had the codes read. Was told I needed both front ABS Sensors. I replaced both sensors and the cleared codes. ABS light came back and said only the front right was working and the front left was bad. What could it be?
