I had my alternator replaced 1 year ago and the battery light is on some of the time starting about 2 days ago.  Today it seemed to come on 4 maybe 5 times throughout the day for 2 or 3 seconds each time.  Should I be concerned? I have had the motor replace 2 years ago.  The car has about 248,000 miles on it.

I am having charging problems with my explorer. I replaced the battery and the alternator twice in 2 days. It still will not charge. I was told it could be the fusible link that is between the alternator and battery but I had 3 people try and look for it and nobody can find it. Can this be a fix-it-myself or will I probably have to take it to a garage? Help please!!!

i have change the altineter the battery and terminals and also the belts on the altinater but i am still not getting enough power if i charge the battery then i can run the car but as soon as i shut it off thats it

I was barely moving in stop/go traffic for over 1/2 hour due to unexpected snow storm, while in 4×4, with lights, and radio on, my radio shut off and then I noticed my windshield wipers were very slow.  I shut off all lights, and wipers and after a few seconds my radio came back on.  I drove the rest of the way home with all unnecessary electrical off.  The battery is only about 1.5 years old.  Thanks for your help.  I’m a single mom with no mechanical skills but willing to try!

Recently my car was dead so I replaced the battery.  It worked fine for 3 days.  Then it was dead again.  This time I replaced the alternator.  It worked fine for 3 more days.   Now it is dead again.  What possible reasons could be that my car will not hold a charge besides the battery or alternator?  The car is a 99 Buick Park Avenue V6 Supercharged.  Thanks!

I have a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer, I just replaced my bad alternator to find that the idle is still bad.  My lights dim when my A/C is on and it feels like it is going to stall.  I checked the plug to the Actuator Solenoid and did not find any oil.  Now, when I turn my wheel all the way to the right/left, it almost stalls out and my inside volt meter drops quickly.
