Chevy Blazer Service Engine Light

Yesterday the Service Engine Soon light came on in my 2004 Chevy Blazer. I took it to Goodyear this morning for a diagnostic test and asked them also to change the oil since it has been a long time (since Sept. 09) since I did that. (I know my bad). The tech changed the oil, etc. and told me that the temp sensor was causing the error and I needed a new coolant temp sensor, thermostat & gasket, radiator hoses all replaced, coolant flush, radiator cap and decarb for almost $500. I had to be to work so I made an appointment for tomorrow morning. But as I drove away the light went out. Could it be all I needed was an oil change?  Help please!

car will start and run until it warms up then it boggs and dies when you acclerate. It died going 65 mph as well. The check engine light only came on when I removed the oxygen sensor then put it back in. So I had the car tested at parts store. They said it was the throttle position sensor. On the way home the light went out. The next day I replaced the sensor and it didnt work. What do I do next?

I got a $100 diagnosis of fault code Po171 from my dealer and they concluded that the fuel pump needed replacing. It was at 35 psi where it should be 50 psi. They wanted $811 to replace it. Could this be any other fault? I had the fuel pump replaced 2-3 years ago. I am going to try to replace it myself but need to be certain that the fuel pump really is the problem. The reason I am a little skeptical is that the fuel pump was replaced only 2 years ago. Could this be a seal leak on the “in-tank pump” or other cause?

Thanks

Anthony

Codes from scanner indicate the emissions system (440,441,443)

I have a 2003 Toyota Echo and the codes from scanner indicate the emissions system (P0440, P0441, P0443) Does that mean I should replace the purge valve/ solenoid? Is that hard to get to?
