The lights on my power door locks stay on and cause my 04 ford sport trac to run down the battery. What would cause this. I have had to start taking out the fuse #26 in order to make them go off. what would cause this.

my friend just bought a 2008 gmc sierra and the alarm keeps going off and the truck is pretty much in shut down. cant start it cant do anything. we’re trying to figure out how to fix this problem. we arent sure if its because of the key fob? we tried putting a new battery in the key fob, still nothing. when you go to start the truck it wont even turn over and the alarm keeps going off. also the key fob only turns on but doesnt actually do anything.

A few days ago when starting the van the blower motor, radio and windows wouldnt work.  After about 10 minutes they just came on.  The van starts and runs normally but now almost every time I start it the same problem occurs but the blower, windows and radio come on in just a few seconds.  The other electronic things seem to work.  Headlights blinkers etc…   Is there some relay or module that may be going bad.  I hope its not the bcm as they are expensive.  FYI there may be other electrical components that don’t work but those are the only ones that I have found so far.    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.    This board has been a big help in the past.

I have a Kenwood Stereo and after I added new speakers the display comes on and flashes “PROTECT” . How do I fix this?

I have a 2002 chrysler sebring convertible and i am having some problems with my radio. there was a small surge i beleive when i was installing another small electrical device and when i checked my radio it looks dead. there is apr .5-.6v going through the power wire in the adapter (i beleive it to be the pink wire) and when the car is in acc or running position it reads 5+v. i have checked the fuses as well (just in case) and do not notice any of them to be blown. any help would be available to try and revive my radio

I replaced the “fan regulator” in my 2005 Chevy Equinox LT a few months ago.  Now, the blower fan isn’t working again.  Did I only replace a “symptom” of the real problem?  Is there a way I can find out if there are any recalls for this problem?  What can cause this $100 part to go out so soon/often?  Thanks in advance for any help.

I have no tail or dash lights when I turn light switch on. All other lights work, daylamp, headlamp, highbeams, brakelights, all signals, reverse, flashers, interior.

Checked: fuses, taillamp wiring, dash control switch.

What else can I troubleshoot. I checked the Hayes manual. I’m stumped.

I have a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan. Left the keys in the ignition, in an on position. Absolutely drained the battery. Recharged battery next day. Dashboards lights blinking like crazy. Went online for help. Got a reset plan of action and voila! It worked, except, I still have no headlights. Why? What else do I need to do?

i have a 1995 sierra 2500 series 5.7 gas engine. my horn and my washer fluid arent working. i cleaned all my ground posts. put in new fuses. wen i hit the horn you can hear the relay switch clicking. and when i first went to use the washer fluid it squirted once then stopped. i took out the horn and the pump hooked them up to a battery and they both work. i cleaned all my ground posts with no go. any clues???
