My car is giving me problems. I’ve changed a fuel pump and filter and oil sending unit and checked the spark plugs and wires. The car starts for likes for 5 seconds and then cuts out and won’t restart unless we let it sit. What else can it be? I really need this car to get to the doctors so please help. Thank you

Hi i have a 1995 nissan silvia qs my fuel pump was stuffed so i replaced it with 1 from fc rx7 savanna works great- problem is now my fuel gauge does not work even my fuel light will not come on i have run it dry just to see?

1990 ranger, fuel pump stopped working, checked the shut off switch and the pump relay. now at a loss can u please shoot some advice

I have a 1986 Ford F-150 5.0 liter V-8 with two fuel tanks. Up until yesterday the truck ran fine with no problems. While I was driving it, the truck started to cut out. I thought it was flooded and let it sit for about 30 minutes, and was then able to drive it home. Today I went to leave my house and the truck ran fine in park, but died when it was put in drive or reverse. I then checked the fuel pump on the outside of the tank and it clicked on normally, and I also changed the fuel filter just in case, although it continued to do the same thing. I have a hard time believing that both of the fuel pumps in the two tanks could go out at the same time, but I can’t think of any other explanation. What else could it be?

I have a 2005 GMC Seirra with a blown fuel pump. A guy I know has a fuel pump he bought to put in his 1994 Seirra but never did is it compatable i.e. do they cross reference. I have a 4.3L V6 I dont know his engine size.

I have a 1990 ford ranger with a 2.3 liter. My fuel pump will not work.I replaced the pump,relay and the batteries ground cable.I have a wire that runs from the ground on battery to the fuel pump relay he is getting about 8 volts could you help me find the problem? thanks

1989 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 

I need a new FUEL SENDING UNIT but when I talked to a local auto supplier they asked if the sending unit was on the passenger or driver side. Is there anyway I can tell which sending unit I need to purchase without dropping the fuel tank?

Apparently, the sending unit for the “drivers side” is twice the price of the passenger side but when I searched EBAY to purchase a sending unit it never indicated whether it was for the drivers or passenger  side.

i have a 1995 chevy 1500 p.k. and my fuel pump will not go off unless i disconnect the battery. i replaced the relay also unplug the computer and ingtionion switch to make sure they where not the problem. even with this all un hook if i connect the battery the fuel pump is up and running. i also figure out that if i take the relay out of the fuse panel and use a jump wire i can make it turn on or off. as soon as i start the vehicle it goes back to running all the time until i unhook the battery or jump across the fuse box

I recently started having problems with my 1990 chevy lumina 2.5l v4. It loses power while driving and stalls when I stop but alwayz starts back up. I will replace the fuel pump but I want to know if there is any chance it is a different problem like a fuel relay or fuel pump fuse problem?

i can not get it to accelerate over 40 mph
