hello,my problems with my 4 cyl efi auto 1600cc  jeep is about 50-60m into accelerating up an incline, say 10deg,i start to loose engine power.the harder i push on the pedal, the worse it gets till i almost stall out.so i back off and the jeep slowly finds its way.sometimes if i keep the pedal pushed down,the jeep will suddenly take off as if i went from 2 cyl to 4 cyl.

the other problem is when  cruising at 100kmh the jeep normally sits on about 3200rpm.if i back off to say 90kmh,the jeep will downshift and rpms shoot up to about 3500rpm and then it feels as though its trying to find the right gear.another words,i cant stay at a constant 90kmh without the tack and engine sound going up and down.the jeep is a daihatsu rocky 1994.please help

a month ago the yellow service icon lit up but i could not find the problem and the car seemed to be running fine. 2 weeks ago the car seemed sluggish and gear changes were rough.(automatic) the engine seemed fine until it got up to 25-30 rpms but had trouble on hills. Now it can only get to 2000 rpms and cannot get high enough for the next gear.

I changed the fuel filter and the service light is now off, but still no power. Anyone been through this? Thanx

Car has no power and a miss. Im in WV. Care will not pull the hills around here. Speed drops down to 20mph and I down shift all the way to first gear. Just started acting up the other day.  No take off power when at a stop light. Have to tack out the rpms to get going.    Car has new head, timing belt, tranny, and water pump.    Coders right now are #1 piston misfire ( spark plug is covered in oil). Knock Sensor code and  than PO443 Purge valve, PO110 IAT.      Car kinda did this a few nonths ago and gave same codes. I cleaned the Ideal air intake sensor ( i think thats the name ) with carb cleaner and that fixed it. Thought this may be same thing. I checked and does not seem to be pluged like last time. This part does have electrical part to it – dont know if that could be bad. Its a $160 bucks new.    Help please

I have a 97 ford f250 7.5l gas, at. when climbing a hill and i stomp on the gas pedal the tranny will upshift but has no power. at this time the check engine light comes on. i have not had the codes checked as of yet. any ideas

started the engine on my 98 chevy s-10 and gave it a little gas. I heard a loud popping sound and the engine got quieter and now the truck sputters and doesn`t get much gas. Brown oil spewed out of the tailpipe and the muffler was red hot. I ran out of gas a few times recently and that may have something to do with it. Can you please tell me where to begin to figure out what is wrong with my truck. Big problem, Little problem?

my 1995 honda civic coupe,16 valve had a turbo but it blew.took off the turbo but left the aftermarket parts on including aftermarket computer chip.except for the fuel pump its stalk.would this make it not run good and jerk back and forth at about 3000 rpms and up in every gear while accelerating.

ek het ‘n nissan navara 2.5dci 2006 model. teen 140km/h in 6de rat teen ‘n opdraande voel dit asof die bakkie wil uitsny as gevolg van ‘n tekort aan brandstof toevoer. ek het reeds die quantity valve vervang asook nuwe dieselfilters ingesit en die air intake sensor skoon gemaak en die bakkie doen nog dieselfde.

kan iemand asseblief vir my sê wat moontlik die probleem kan wees?

i have no driveability. i have changed spark plugs and switched out my 1996 cougar mass air flow sensor to see if any change and there wasnt. i dropped exhaust to c if cats wereclogged no change in problem. i unplug the the mass air flow sensor and i have driveability ne bogging what can i do next im lost?????

My car barely accelerates and feels like it has almost no power to run. I changed the spark plugs and it worked but now it happened again. What coud this be? Could it be the fuel filter?

I’m wondering if my Throttle body would be the reason why my engine wont go over 10mph even with the gas pedal fully engaged. I have a 02 Nissan Altima
