Have a problem with tapping from the engine at high RPM’s. Seems ok while idleing, and getting to speed is ok, but if i get on the gas, there is a tapping in the motor. if i am cruiseing it is ok and no noise, but if i try to pass someone, tapping again. Can anyone give me some ideas what i should check for?  It is a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria Polcie interceptor, P71 motor 4.6 liter.

2005 chevy cobalt makes a click click click noise seconds after turning off the ignition

I have a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with 135,500 miles on the original motor and tranny.  There is a loud constant tap coming from around the passenger side valve cover, is this a rod getting ready to go, or is it a sticky valve or valve lifter?

Belt squeals when car is first started then stops. All belts are tight.

I have a 2003 jetta wolfsburg edition and it has a rattling noise coming from the engine. It sounds like a belt is loose and it goes away as I accelerate. What could it be?

2004 chevy trailblazer 4wd ls ext has a loud rattle in front end near right front wheel and a loud moaning sound from the front end that gets louder with speed and pulsates as the wheels turn

I have a 1998 CLK320 with 65,000 miles. For the first 20-30 minutes after starting the car, when the car is in drive but I am completely stopped, the car has a very loud idle and strong vibration. As soon as I step on the gas or put the car into park or reverse, the noise and vibration stops. After 20-30 minutes it stops and idles normally with no vibration. What could be causing this? I am getting a little nervous, on some days the vibration and noise is really bad. Thanks

how can i tell if my front wheel bearing is going bad

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix that makes noise when turning to the right or left. Its not a roaring noise like a wheel bearing , but more like a rubbing noise. It only makes the noise when I turn the wheel left or right. What could this be?
