1999 dodge neon overheats

I have a 1999 dodge neon. Freon was just added to my car, and now with the heat off or my air conditioning on, when I drive my car the temperature gauge goes up to high until I turn the heat on.    What could be the problem and is it something that I can fix myself.

Why won’t my car start?

I have a 95 Chevy Monte Carlo 3.1L V6. It starts up OK at first but then when I drive it a little ways (like to the store) and park it, it does not want to start back up for like 30-45 minutes. What could the problem be?

I also have an overheating problem in this car and it pulls to the left pretty bad and shimmys. I recently took over this car from my husband since he bought a new one….without talking to me first if I might add. I would really like to get it fixed as good as new.

Can anyone help me please.

Engine temp/heater issue

I have a 1998 Chrysler Cirrus. The heater alternately blows cold air and hot air, and the engine temp soars quickly then drops just as fast. I have replaced a suspect radiator cap, topped off the overflow tank, and replaced the thermostat, nothing seems to have helped much. Could it be an air bubble that ingressed either through the overflow or the faulty cap? What should I try next?

Bronco II engine dying (waterpump/overheating?)

I have a ’88 Ford Bronco II. The truck runs “okay” when first started up in the morning. After about 15 minutes of driving, the engine starts acting as if it is “choking”. The engine misses and I have to rev the engine to keep it running or it dies and I have to pop the clutch and “chug” my way home. The temperature gauge tells me it is running about 1/4 of the way between cold and hot which is NOT normal. It normally runs midway even in the 95 degree heat here in Florida. I touch the radiator cap and it is cool. The engine sounds as if it have been overheated after I shut it off because I hear the engine clicking after I park it as I have heard on overheated engines in the past. Could this be a water pump gone/going bad or a stuck thermostat? The temperature gauge reading makes me wonder if it is accurate and if there is no water circulating.

Car about to overheat until I turn off the heater that was only producing cold air?

I was getting onto the interstate in my 96 v6 Mustang and pressed the excelleration to get in front of some traffic and the rpm’s was up to abut 4.  I had the heater on level 3 of 4 and when I accelerated the heat went from warm to completly cool.  I drove going 75 mph on cruise and the air was still cold and then I noticed my guage go from cold to medium, then I saw it going up to hot and I have never seen it do that.  I slowed down to about 60 and was driving for another mile and it stayed on hot.  Then I turned off the heat and the temp guage immediatley dropped back down.  I drove for a few miles without the heater on and then turned it back on and when I turned the heater back on it was working fine again.
This has never happened before and I assume something needs to be done.  I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg taking it to a mechanic if it is something simple the car may need.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
