I tried to start my 08 dodge caliber this morning and it made a clicking noise, I thought it would be the battery so i tried to jump it and that didn’t work either so whats wrong with it, any help starter maybe?

have a 99 f150 and starter wont disengage when truck already on. changed selenoid and starter .

It won’t start the battery would not take a charge so I replaced it still does nothing but click as the starter solenoid on the starter or the firewall.
