I’m wondering if my Throttle body would be the reason why my engine wont go over 10mph even with the gas pedal fully engaged. I have a 02 Nissan Altima
The throttle body itself, No. The TPS: http://freeautomechanic.com/tps-throttle-position-sensor.html Quite possible.
First place to start would be to pull the check engine light codes and go from there. I suspect a secondary injection system code. But there is no sense in guessing. You can get the codes scanned for free at autozone if you have one near you.
Pull the codes and report back for further advice.
