ford ranger 1990 4 cyl 2.3 lits

I put a new battery in, all the charge its good, after I put it in I tried to turn my lights on and  nothing, press on brakes no lights either, try to run it and nothing, when I turn my ignition switch nothing happens, by the way starter, alternator and solenoid are brand new, can somebody help me???

  1. Lets ask ourself… Did the lights work before I changed the battery and or all the other parts.. If yes, then you definately forgot to hook something back up or hooked it up in the wrong spot.

    You are missing a ground connection or a positive connection if your lights are not working as they do not require the ignition key to work.

    Double, triple check your connections. A corroded or loose or dirty connection will prevent anything from working.

  2. everything used to work perfectly,but tomorrow i,m gonna dobule triple check all my conections and make sure they’re all tight and secure and no corrosive,now,if after all of this is done,and still nothing what could it be??
