I have a 1998 Nissan Frontier XE pick-up.
It’s a 4clyn. I believe my Air Bag system is draining my battery. My battery\alternator checked out good, however while driving …the air bag light flashes & battery light stays on. I also checked the fuses…good. How can I check the air bag system. Is this a common problem?
If you are convinced the air bag system is the problem, remove the air bag fuse and test your theory. Generally when the battery light is on, it means the alternator isn’t charging.
Most likely you are looking at replacing the alternator when all is said and done.
