First of all this car sat for almost a year with no windshield, but no major damages. I was going to give up on it when a guy kindly fixed it for me for the price of the parts. It ran great after that, it had a tune up and new battery. Well, one night after going to the store and back, i stupidly asked a friend to lock my ingition by turning it backwards– i believe he turned it forewards. the next morning, the ignition wasnt locked and the battery was dead. We hooked a charger up to it and it still wouldnt start. there’s an electrical short causeing my car to die. Where would it be located?
1989 chevy cavalier z24 NEED HELP!
Probably just a bad battery. If you run a battery completely flat dead. It is difficult to get them to work again. I would start with replacing the battery.
I used a 24volt battery charger and there is a little bit of juice holding to the battery. I did figure out that I have an electrical problem, but i don’t know exactly what or where. any ideas?
