2003 Saab 9-3 airbag connector help

Hi,

There is a connector on the right rail at the bottom of the drivers seat.  My connector is disconnected and my “airbag disconnected” waring light is illuminated.

I had to pull the seat to get to the connector.   My problem is I can’t find a receptor for the connection.  What does it plug into?

Thanks

  • A scan tool is required to determine why the light is illuminated.

The connector under the seat may not need to connect to anything. Sometimes seat belts have a switch inside the receptor to make sure it is snapped in or it will shut off the air bag.

If any part of the air bag system fails, the light on the dash will illuminate.
