1) Secure vehicle on a jack stand
2) remove wheel
3) remove brake caliper and rotor
4) Smack out the bad stud with a large hammer
5) insert new stud in existing hole
6) using an over-sized nut, place it over the new stud and place a lug nut over top
7) tighten lug nut against the over-sized nut to pull the new stud securely into place.
8) reinstall brakes and wheel.
