How old is the battery? Try cleaning as follows.
Use one part water and one part baking soda to clean any corrosion off the battery cable heads. Soak each cable head in the solution for about 30 minutes and then use a wire brush on each head to finalize the cleaning. Use a piece of course sandpaper to clean the terminals on the battery. Clean with the sandpaper till the terminals are bright silver.
One hard click is most commonly the Starter
Several repeating clicks is a battery issue.
I agree with Elaine Car Tech, clean the terminals and then try charging the battery. If after a couple hour charge it still clicks repeatedly, replace the battery also.
