Help with 2003 DVD Navigation for toyota 4runner

Need help over writing dvd navigation for 2003 toyota 4runner. It will not let you use while moving and supposedly there is a way to over write this. Also do you know how to overwrite some wiring that would enable you to use regular dvd’s that would play thru the navigation? This is my first post so I am brand new to this site.
