I have a 95 S10 pickup that snapped the timing chain. After its been repaired the engine when started the engin revs to full throttle, and wont kick down. What could be the problem.

I have a 95 S10 pickup that snapped the timing chain. After its been repaired the engine when started the engin revs to full throttle, and wont kick down. What could be the problem.
Who ever did the work didn’t get it put back together corectly. the throttle may be stuck open caused by the throttle cable being hung up or damaged. A huge vacuum leak at the intake or a hose left off (could be the brake booster hose)
