Our 2005 Lincoln Towncar Signature was in a front and rear crash on an icy bridge where no other car was involved but the front and rear end struck the bridge rails. The Airbag did not deploy, but now the seatbelts in front won’t deploy out of the side of the car. They are locked in place because of the accident but there is nothing wrong with the belts. Can we unlock them somehow ourselves or do we have to take the car to a dealership and pay for service for this problem?

The seat belt units will need to be replaced as they have already done what they were intended to do. Now it is time to get new ones.
