When I start the truck and press the brake, it will not come out of park and the ABS light flashes. I have checked the brake fluid and it is fine, but I am not sure where or what else to check. Please help. Thank you

Check your brake light switch
I agree with Trans Doc as the Shift Lock Solenoid is activated by the brake light switch.

You need to make sure your battery has good voltage. Then check the Brake light switch that is on the side of the brake pedal as it sends the signal to the shift-lock solenoid.
If that is ok, then move on to the Shift-lock solenoid located at the steering column.
