2008 Chrysler 300

I have a 2008 Chrysler 300, with 55,000 miles. It has a V-6 engine, 3.8L, I believe.  This morning I drove it and everything was fine.  I came back home and left the radio on while I loaded the car.  After that the battery was drained enough so that I had to jump the car off.  I used the battery to make the jump connection instead of the positive post located in the engine compartment.  The car is now in “limp mode” with the transmission not shifting higher than second gear. Any suggestions??

  1. You will need to replace the battery as long as the alternator is charging. When a battery is weak or internally shorted it will not allow for proper voltage to run the computer properly.
