need help with a 1997 honda passport

I have a 1997 honda passport that is my grandma’s. It is broke down what is starts up it runs rough as soon as I can has lost all power and will not convert 15 miles an hour or go over 3000 rpm vs. also it needs gas like I have to push the pedal to start it and it drains the battery when I shut the engine of it seems like. does anybody know what the problem could be I change the fuel filter and new spark

Could be as simple as the alternator no longer charging or may have several issues. If the check engine light is on you will need to pull the codes and post them back here to help narrow it down.
