The engine runs fine until you press on the gas; then it cuts out. I believe the engine is a 5.2 engine. Just had it repaired and the repair shop needed to go back though the problem, but doesn’t know what to check for. Can you help in this matter; or give me some hints as what to check for?
Sounds like either a bad MAF Sensor or a clogged Catlytic Converter.
If this is a pre-1996 vehicle it is possible the fuel pump is going out.
