Radiator

I have been having to add coolant to the radiator every few days. I’m sure that means there is a leak somewhere. How do I determine if it is a hose, the radiator or the overflow container?

  1. This is determained by pressure testing the system. This is done with a Coolant pressure testor. You attach the tool to the radiator where the cap is located, pump up the pressure to the limit state on the cap(usually around 17 psi) and then look about the cooling system components for a leak.
