I have a 2000 Nissan pathfinder XE. It starts to shake side to side once I reach 45+ MPH. I have to come off the accelerator to regain control of the vehicle. The shaking is only in the rear. What’s causing this problem? What needs to be replaced?

First test would be to move the rear tires to the front and see if the issue moves tot he front, if it does you have a busted belt in one of the tires and need to replace them.
I have all new tires. I’ve been told that I need to replace some link rods.
Sounds like a very possible component to replace.
