After being in storage for about 4 months, my 2003 Ford F150 Lariat 4 x 4 (Triton 5.4 Ltr. V8), won’t start. It was running fine in June ’11 – disconnected the battery and covered it up for the summer in a pole-barn. Installed a new battery this wknd. and it just cranks – like it isn’t getting any gas. (The tank is over 1/2 full). Bought this truck new and it has 150,000 trouble free miles. Never been “off-road” only driven to and from work and is still a real nice truck. But I’m no mechanic – HELP!

Try Starting Fluid. Check For Spark.
Storing vehicles in a pole barn sounds like a host of possibilities are the problem, ie. 1.) rodents love hiding and chewing on stuff like wires. Even though the battery seems to turn over the engine, there might not be any spark. 2.)Condensation causes water to form in the gas tank. 3.) Gasoline can go stale unless treated with a “Stabilizer”.
