I’m not sure what year it is but I can’t turn the key. What could be the problem?

I’m not sure what year it is but I can’t turn the key. What could be the problem?
Is the key stuck in the ignition? Does the key turn to unlock the column and it doesn’t turn? It might be that you just need to jerk the steering wheel a bit while turning the key, try a different key or will require disassembling the column and replacing parts.
