I have a 96 Chevy Tahoe. I shifted to 4wd High last night, drove one block, then attempted to shift back to 2wd. The 2wd would not engage.

I have a 96 Chevy Tahoe. I shifted to 4wd High last night, drove one block, then attempted to shift back to 2wd. The 2wd would not engage.
Is this a manual shift or a push button shift for the 4WD?
