2004 SRX Cadillac 3.6L

were do I find the priming valve, for the cooling system I changed the antifreeze and now the car is getting hot, I think it need to be primed.

  1. Anytime the coolant is changed the system needs to be bled to remove any air pockets. Run the engine till it warms and the top off coolant level. Run engine till it opens the thermostat and then top off level again. Test drive and then recheck levels.

    I do not see any bleeder valves in the images I have available for this engine. However, if there are any they would look just like a brake bleeder.
