I have replaced the battery and alternator and the battery light remains on, what else can I do to fix this issue?
The battery light comes on when the charging system is not operating correctly.
Testing your Alternator
Couple of things to consider, The REMAN alternator you installed is bad or wasn’t hooked back up correctly. (left a wire off- it happens)
The battery is bad or has a bad cell, most likely wouldn’t start the car at all if this was the issue.
I would use a multi-meter and check the charging by placing the leads on the battery with the engine running. Check at idle and when reving the engine at a steady 2,000 rpm. You would want to see above 13 volts if it is charging.
