my explorer had the motor light on but still run good but now on startup keeps stopping an when it does run its on fast idle about 1500 to 2000 rpm an runs
down the road at 45 mph doesn’t drop down to idle at all this is the 4.0 motor v6 auto trans. any help thank you for your time.
This is an great description of a large vacuum leak. Check your hoses and replace them as needed. Look to the PCV hose first.
