The seat belt sensor is unplugged, faulty or has something stuck inside it. Plugging in the seat belt click just completes a circuit from the body ground and the chime going off is telling you it thinks it is not connected. look inside for anything that might have gotten shoved in it, maybe even a dine or penny. If this checks out, look at the wiring and make sure it hasn’t come unplugged or been cut. Should be one Black that connects directly to the ground and goes to the seat belt switch and the other wire is violet/green and runs from the seat belt switch to the seat belt switch sensor cluster.
