1988 chevy 3500 4×4 6.2L turbo diesel

I have a 1988 chevy 6.2 diesel. I was driving down road and it just died on me and i cant get it started again. When looking under the hood i find i have fuel leaking by the wires on my injector pump and when cranking it starts to smoke there at injector pump.

  1. Leaking fuel anytime is not a good thing. You will need to determine and repair the leak as it directly effects the fuel pressure. If the injector pump still smokes after the leak is repaired, you may need to replace the injector pump.
