When placed in reverse as I try to back up car shakes really bad from back end like the wheels are locked. But there is no brake on
Put the back end securely up on jack stands so the rear wheels can spin. Put the vehicle in neutral and see if you can spin each wheel forward and backward. Which ever one won’t spin backward, pull the wheel and inspect the brakes. Odds are something has come apart and is causing the issue.
Another spot to inspect would be the universal joints on the drive shaft. Not as common, but for the age of the vehicle a definite possibility.
