2009 gmc canyon sle 3.7l

I have a passlock light on and the whole system is dead the truck doesn’t crank and the dash doesn’t work

    Replace or Charge Battery. (need to have a GOOD fully charged battery.

    Disconnect negative battery cable end from battery. Move ignition key to the “ON” position. Reconnect the battery cable and then move the ignition key from “ON” to “START” position. This should reset the system and start the engine.
