A high idle is caused from an engine vacuum leak. You may brakewash to spray around areas in the engine (while its running) to help determine the location. DO NOT spray on exhaust! Rather spray around the intake and hoses and listen for engine change. You may also listen for a whistling noise without spraying if the leak is large enough to detect.
