There’s clips on calipers on front for pads where do they go also the slides to hold calipers in don’t want go back in
The clips hold the pad in place on the caliper piston as shown in the illustration below.
You will need to use a pair of channel locks or a c-clamp to push the slides back in (use before removing cliper). In Severe cases they can be removed by driving them all the way out and then cleaned up with a wire wheel.
