Car has 56000 miles on it and it using about a quart of oil every 500 mile . Where it going and how do I go about getting it fix.
First you will need to park in the same spot and place cardboard under it to determine if it is leaking externally or not. If the oil is leaking externally, you will need to determine from where and have it repaired.
No external leak is found, check your fluid levels to see if one of them is above full as this may be where the oil is leaking into.
It is possible for the engine to burn the oil, but 1 quart to every 500 miles… you would notice excessive smoke leaving the tail pipe.
