I could guess that the water pump failed and took out the timing belt. Does it sound different than normal when you spin the engine over?
You need to determine what the engine is not getting to diagnose the no start condition.
An engine needs 4 things to run:
1) Spark
2) Fuel
3) Compression – What is a Compression Test
4) Timing (all of the above at the right time)
You can try spraying starting fluid in the air filter to see if it is fuel related or not.
