My son slid the car off the road and damaged the driver side rear caliper I replaced it with a brand new caliper new pads on the rear and a new rubber brake line for that side but the caliper still will not release

Visually inspect that the metal lines are not damaged or crimped. Were you able to bled the brakes? Are you trying to press the caliper in or turn it in?
