This is unfortunate. If they just put them in like a valve cover pour hole you may be able to remove the valve cover and gain access to all the contaminates, otherwise a complete tear down and flush would be needed. A little left over dirt shouldn’t hurt too much. If you can gain access to all the dirt and rock and use a shop vacuum to get it all ou as best you can.
If any got into the oil pan, removing the oil pan and flushing it would be a good idea.
