Low coolant level. As far as electrical wiring there isn’t any connection between the them. Might be possible that there is a loose connection at the gauge or the temp sensor and when you hit the brake or gas pedal it moves it just enough one way or the other.
what would make my temp. gauge react when I press the brake or gas pedals??
