Periodically, my traction light, VSC, ABS, and BRAKE lights come on. No other lights. They go off quite often and will randomly come back on. 75,460 miles – no other issues, no weird noises, — just want to know what the issue is.
RESPONSE
If the brake fluid level is low it may cause the lights to illuminate, check this first. If the level is low, make sure there are no leaks and replace the warn brake pads as needed. The brake system is a sealed system and should not require added fluid unless there is a leak. Once the fluid level is low, replacing the warn pads will bring the fluid level back up to full.
Most likely a failing speed sensor or the tires are spinning. An ABS code should be stored each time the lights illuminate. An ABS scan tool is required to extract the codes.
