hard time starting, gauges are bouncing before they come up… what is causing this?

May be a weak battery or poor battery connections if it seems to be cranking slower than normal. If it cranks over fast, then it may be in need of a tune up(spark plugs) or have a fuel related issue. May want to try some higher octane fuel from a different station the next time it needs a fill up. This would rule out having gotten some bad fuel in the past. Of course if the check engine light is on, have the codes pulled and post them below. Just about any local auto parts store will do this for free.
Thank You, I cleaned Battery cables, but I think I need new plugs and wires (never replaced )
