Inverted Torx Socket Is there a difference?

I think I need a E 14 inverted torx socket. All I can find in external torx sockets. Is there a difference?

Think about the inverted and external difference much like male and female. The external torx socket has the star pattern on the outside and the inverted torx star pattern is located on the inside.
