When I step on the accelerator the vehicle will be moving slowly although you expect it to move smoothly. All of a sudden it will move very fast as expected.
Sounds like the transmission fluid my be low. Check the fluid level first. If it is low, top it off and test. If it seems OK, look for a leak and repair it to avoid a repeat performance.
