Dash shows in reverse while in park and will not start, if you try down shift into neutral it will only skip and go into drive still will not start.
Maybe the gear selector switch(Transmission Range Sensor) needs to be adjusted or replaced. Use the wiring diagram to assist in tracing the wiring if needed.
