I put a new (used) motor in my 2010 Pontiac G6. And when you turn the car on the backup lights come on and stay on.All the lights on the dash work. But when you go to start it nothing happens. It won’t click it, won’t do anything. I figured it’s something to do with the security system but the security light goes off as soon as you turn the key on so I’m stuck.
We have developed a Flow Chart for diagnosing no start situations. Take a look. I will ad a wiring diagram of the starting system to help assist with this issue. Check your battery connections, then your starter fuse #26.
